minimum 40mm height, 40mm width, 200mm length.
probably have a 5mm lip to stop splashes.
80mm width will increase surface area so it takes longer to lower the level. also gives 40mm space for a float.
I put two M4 bolt holes on the end so I can design and attach a float and its electronics
currently using a tray I got when I bought a curry+chips from the local Chinese takeaway.
design a water trough that can hold water up to a height of at least 40mm.
top area should be large enough that when the syringe is drawing water, it doesn't lower to water height too much.
design and install a float so the depth of water can be monitored. we might link this to an external pump at some time to automate topping-up of water.
