Allow plugins with longer version numbers #365

Currently plugins are limited to version numbers of 10 characters in length. 
But, there are number of plugins that have longer names and its quite valid 
even. For instance due to including tags (-dev, -beta etc).

In strict MySQL mode these longer version numbers can prevent the plugin from 
installing (operation aborts).
