Blogspot categories not being added to list #10

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make a new blogspot entry using categories.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When adding a category I expected it to be appended to the category list for
future posts. This is no longer happening.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version: 1.0.375, Built on 08/05/08 03:01:39
Windows XP Service Pack 3

Please provide any additional information below.

I have a blog on blogspot. Under the "configure..." pulldown and the
"Categories" tab is the list of categories (or, more appropriately, tags) I use
to index my entries. Initially, as I entered a new "category" it would be added
to this list. Now, they are no longer added. Interestingly, under the "Tags"
selection in the Account Navigator they are all listed as appropriate. I assume
there must have been a change to blogger/blogspot at some point as this /used/
to work fine.

I realize this is, sadly, not an actively developed product; but I've been
using it for a long time and am not terribly anxious to change. If there is a
way to manually enter additional "categories" I would be satisfied.

Ok. I should have played around with this first. I think the problem has been
resolved by deleting the account directory under c:\Documents and
Setting\username\Application Data\Zoundry\Zoundry Raven\My Profile\accounts and
re-adding the account. At least, all the categories are now showing up under
the category tab.

I suspect this may have gotten messed up when I changed the url of the blog. I
was still able to post; but there may have been something in the configuration
xml that didn't get updated (I was going to try hacking the xml file to see if
I could manually fix this; but the above correction was fast and easy).
