Hi there,

Didn't want to open an issue -- just couldn't figure out how to DM you lol. My name's Eve & I'm a student in math / machine learning as well over at Rochester Institute of Tech. I came across your paper2speech program today (haven't got it to work yet, lol--git clone keeps saying it can't reach github for some reason ... maybe there's an error in the clone command you gave, idk).

Was just wondering like, what's it like for you over @ Munich, I see ur in a master's program (I'm getting my BS in math + ML + neuroscience w/ minors in pre-law and multilingual studies, so always interested in learning about how tech is like worldwide). Has your uni given u any interesting projects? I saw your "latent communication" repo about ML in Python which I think is great -- I've wanted to make a Tkinter GUI for tensorflow, made easier for users w/ LLMs.

Anyway hi, hope you're friendly else this is prolly weird LOL

(P.S. Think I posted this on the wrong repo at first...)

Hi Eve,

Nice that you are reaching out, it's always great to hear from the people who are using your code :) Also, thanks for pointing out the error in the readme, no clue how I overlooked that one. Actually I'm currently using a modified version of this code that runs as plug-in in the browser. If you want, I can explain it to you in an online meeting. I can also tell you more about the latent-communication repository then. About studying in Munich, I really like the university, the professors are really competent and have a lot of practical knowledge, so I like the lectures. You are studying in the US, right? I've never been there, so I would also be interested in hearing some experiences :) I added my homepage to my profile, so you can also contact me via the e-mail link in the footer.

Best, Kai
