Is it possible to have another branch with the source code, so I can modifiy the app for my personal use and maybe upload the altered version if I deem it useful for other people as well?

It looks like Kaiheilos is at the moment not longer active on Github. I dont know when he comes back or he comes back, but he is the Modder from State of Decay 2 Community Editor on Discord: https://discord.com/channels/444680056657412136/464889328771006464

Username is Heilos. When you like to have the Source Code you can ask him and maybe he makes a new branch :)

This project really should be removed until source code is attached. There are plenty of places to host random unknown (and quite sus) executables that are perfect for people that think their code is somehow special. This will just turn into more garbage abandonware on GitHub not worthy of retaining because nobody can simply recompile the application for a newer or different operating system.

One does not upload binaries to GitHub. That's what the Release Section is for!
