Are you using the multiplatform client? The native mac client only supports
Growl.

Also having this issue. Same OS, Growl and Android OS version numbers.
What is the difference between multiplatform and native mac clients? Is that in
regard to the application installed on the computer, phone, growl?

They're completely different applications - I originally developed the native
mac application (which you can download from this project), and then someone
developed the multiplatform client, hosted in a separate project at
http://code.google.com/p/android-notifier-desktop/ - I mean the application
installed on your computer, btw - for the phone there's only a single app.

I am having the same issue with Growl. I'm using Win7 x64, with the x86
version of java and the desktop software. I can get regular system
notifications to work with no problems at all, but when I click the "Growl
Notification Transport Protocol" the notifications don't come through and the
application never registers with Growl. Growl is working correctly, because I
have other applications successfully notifying me through it.

I think you want to report this in this multiplatform client project mentioned
above.
