Start at Login

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Selecting start at login in preferences

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"Error occurred while updating startup status"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.5.1 on Ubuntu 10.04

Please, attach your android-notifier-desktop.log file in this issue, you can 
get it right-clicking the tray icon and selecting "Show Log".

I've changed it to try to create the startup directory if it does not exist, 
please copy this jar file to /usr/share/android-notifier-desktop and let me 
know if it works for you:
