network broadcast #31

Hi,

Before anything, thank you for the wonderfull app really usefull.
I'm running few 'nux boxes here and not all of them have wireless connection,
however they are all on the same network. It seems I am not able to get
notification on "wired" computers. Is it a restriction? Could it be possible to
add hardwired network? So if I receive a call every PC could mute.

Thank you

It uses a regular UDP broadcast, so it should work as long as your router is
configured properly.
Can you check that your router is configured to allow all communication between
the wired and wireless networks, including broadcasts? Are they on the same IP
subnet?

Since you mentioned it's unix, are you able to run tcpdump on one of those
wired boxes and check if UDP packets are arriving on port 10600?
