Many user don't stay always connected to wifi-BT to preserve battery life.
An hypothetical solution that make android-notifier useful even if computer and
phone are not connected to the same network would be great.

Also in many offices, university, ecc.. wifi access point make "isolation", so
client can only surf the web and access to limited local resources but cannot
communicate to peer wlan clients.

A sort of notifications over internet solve also that problem.

Great project, it fill an huge need of Android users.

It currently is possible to send notifications to a computer not in the same
network (Notification Method: IP/Wifi>Target IP-Adress>Custom IP or Host). This
can be any Computer on the Internet. If you have a router just use UDP and
forward port 10600 to the corresponding PC behind the router.
I would love to see a function to enter more than one "Custom IP or Host".
I would like to notify my PC & MediaCenter at home and my PC @ work.
