What are you doing to produce the error?
1. config = new ConnectionConfiguration(serverIP, 5222);
2. connection = new XMPPConnection(config);
3. SASLAuthentication.supportSASLMechanism("PLAIN", 0);
4. connection.connect();
5. connection.login(username, password);
6. manager = new FileTransferManager(connection);
7. ... throws error
What is the expected output?
The expected output is to have the transfer succeed
What do you see instead? (Please attach a debug enabled logcat)

I do not use any emulator, I run the application directly on the device through
a USB cable.
