In iOS 5.x, y values can get out of chart.

First attached screenshot is for iOS 6.1, which represent the correct chart.
Second attached screenshot is for iOS 5.1, which has a y value out of the chart.

What version of Core Plot are you running? I believe this was fixed after the 
1.1 release.
