I'm about to take a bit of a break, but I have a question. I saved all the work I did in updating figures, and it's there in the script on github. When I go to open the script on my computer, however, it only shows an old version (without any of what I did yesterday). I've tried closing everything and restarting my computer, and pulling from github but it says already up to date. Can you think of anything else I should try before I just copy and paste from github into my computer? It started when I tried to edit the detection probabilities figure, and my computer told me I deleted things when I hadn't done so intentionally. I went to my OneDrive and restored everything from today, but it's still not letting me open the current version.

Any chance you're in a different branch? I'm not sure why, but there's a "master" branch and a "katie_may22" branch. The lwd in the temporal figure in the master is 3, but in katie_may22 is 2.

You can select branches from this dropdown:

the additional branches are from the day in May that I broke everything, and my friend who helped me revert to where I had been suggested using branches as a way to make sure that the master stays as expected.

I have no idea what happened today, but I had an uncommitted version of the script (the one without yesterday's work) and when I looked at it, it had deleted everything I'd done yesterday. so I was able to revert back to the previous draft and it looks like it's correct now. There are some weird things that I don't recognize waiting to be handled on git, but I'm not going to worry about them at the moment
