• [x] make sure to change the piece that’s “Brief summary of dataset contents, contextualized in experimental procedures and results." You could copy paragraphs 1, 3, and 4 from the methods of the manuscript, just remove the references
• [x] fix your bullet formatting issue with the first file, at *Problem1
• [x] specify the date format in the README for all variables that are dates - e.g., (MM/DD/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS) (I just saw you did this for the recordtable; do it for the operation as well!)
• [x] change "Central Africa Time" to "GMT+2" for clarity
• [x] typo in DateTimeOrginal ?
• [x] it's confusing to have a separate name for "Camera" in two files and "StudySite" in another - I realize this is my fault, and you deal with it in scripts, but you could also consider just cleaning it up and using "Camera" consistently (would need to change scripts accordingly). put this lower on the to-do list
• [x] you can consider just combining the camera operation & covariate files into one, since they have the same organization (would require change in scripts)
• [x] you don't necessarily need 02-temporal-figure-functions.R in a separate script; I would just move this function into 01-temporal-overlap-calculation. It made more sense when we had many functions

dates are annoying, I'm using m/d/Y for month and date without a leading 0 and 4 digit year (what we have), following Berkeley, but they don't specify month/date with/without a leading zero

I think the key thing is that you specify that month comes before day (since that's not what is done in most of the world). M/D/YY is probably fine

addressed all of your suggestions, I only left in the reference to your paper in the paragraphs from the methods for details on cameras

also "StudySite" was only used to join data frames in a previous script, so I could change the name and not change anything in the script (not a question, just a comment)
