do I need to make anything negative? #75

I saw on some of your other code that the lake covariate needed to be multiplied by -1 to be made "distance to." Do I need to do that here?

Not necessarily. I just reversed the direction for the effect size plot so that it became analogous to "proximity to lake". We did this so that the plot was more intuitive (if it is a positive value, animals associate with the lake, and if it is negative, they stay away from it).

In your case, if you wanted to go this route for the prediction plots, the more appropriate thing to do would be to reverse the x-axis so it went from high to low "distance to lake" values. But maybe that makes it MORE confusing.

Ahhhh that makes more sense why it was necessary in your case and not here. No, I think 0-20km going left to right makes more intuitive sense to me at least.
