Compare models for successful vs unsuccessful hunters #32

Or include as interaction term in model?

I ran the model with only hunters that had harvested successfully, and hunters who had not (and to be conservative I also just did the subset that didn’t travel in a successful hunting party).

When comparing successful vs unsuccessful hunters, the time in each state is virtually identical, and the relationships between the covariates and stationary state probabilities are also extremely similar.

There may be important differences in what kinds of area they are using, where they are going, how they are moving (could be another set of analyses)—but NOT in their relative time spent in behavioral states, nor in how the environment shapes their behavioral state.
