Run version of model without roads #34

Is it circular and boring to say driving is happening on roads? What question can we answer?

Or should we include in the model anyway, since it's an important thing to control for?

From our conversation, we decided to try to run the models without roads. I’m not really sure I understand why we made this call? I did it, though, and we see some different patterns emerging for the “driving” state and its association with other variables (viewshed, ruggedness, time). But I think these patterns only emerge because we failed to account for the location of roads, which seems critical to understand the driving behavior. These other patterns don’t exist when we DO include roads in the model. So I don’t think we should exclude them.
