non-KJV versification causes problems

I am developing a sword module of a new finnish bible translation.
It is already working fine with libsword (c/c++ language) based linux 
applications. With jsword-based apps it is not working well 
(bibledesktop/andbible), because of non-KJV versification, which is not yet 
supported in stable jsword (version 1.6).

My question is if and-bible could be easily built with more recent ("nightly 
build") version of jsword to test if it is working fine with that? I already 
tried with bibledesktop, and there were some problems, but versification was 
working fine (or at least better than with jsword 1.6). 

I am not experienced in Android/java programming.

JSword has only just been updated by DM Smith to support Alternate 
Versification, i.e. in the new release.

So, does that mean this is going to land in and-bible any time soon? As a 
German-speaking user, the restriction to KJV versification is a major problem, 
as most German bible a use alternative versifications.
