Can't get past the start-up screen for Bible Download #72

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open And-Bible, respond "Ok" to the question "Download a bible from the 
internet?
2.No options for downloading are displayed on the following screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to see a list of options for downloading Bibles etc. Instead, I 
see a screen with a blank drop down list on the left, and a drop down list 
(which can't be selected) with the word "Bible"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I've tried several versions of And-Bible including the latest. I'm on Froyo 2.2.

Please provide any additional information below.
These issues started when I had to Format my memory card (SD card), however, 
uninstalling or re-installing doesn't seem to help.

I am sure if we delete all the And Bible data and reinstall it should work.

Go to Settings/Applications/Manage applications/And Bible.  Select Clear Data 
and Force Stop.

Connect your Android mobile via usb and delete the following directory  
/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/net.bible.android.activity.

Also delete /mnt/sdcard/jsword if it exists.

Then ensure you have a good data connection or (preferably) a WiFi connection 
and start And Bible.  Hopefully it will ask you if you would like to download a 
bible, and then fetch a list of available bibles from the servers.

You say these issues started when you had to reformat your SD card.  Can I take 
it that your SD card has been tested and is now working fine?  

Did And Bible work fine prior to the SD card being reformatted?

Can you give information such as make & model of mobile phone?  Are all other 
apps working fine now?

Mine had nothing to do with the sd card issue. It started when I had an
error on download. I tried your suggestions but they didn't work. Finally
got it to work by using titanium. Backup restore feature on all my apps and
then a reinstall.

help - this is by far my favourite Bible app for Android!
