Frequent crashes with tmux/irssi #606

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. SSH into desktop
2. tmux at -dt irssi
3. Use it for a few minutes

ConnectBot will invariably crash after...  some amount of time.  Seems that 
using pgup/pgdn will make it happen faster, so perhaps this is a bad 
interaction with the scrollback buffer?  I use ConnectBot mostly for irssi, but 
a few sessions with a bare shell and with vim inside tmux haven't had crashes.

Have tried both the latest release (Oct 2010 in Android Market), the Dec 2011 
master build, and the latest VX ConnectBot fork.  Same behavior in all of them.

Desktop is Arch Linux.  zsh 5.0.0, tmux 1.6, irssi 0.8.15.
