Digital ocean is good, but $20/mo could be too steep to create a product.

$5-10/mo would be a good target.

The baseline use-case is a service, which means we would not be turning over the keys to the server, or the codebase to the customer. So, firewalls between instances are not required, and we can think about shared, scalable infrastructure. We should also consider the overhead for deploying new client instances in the architecture selection.
