User story

As a user I need to recieve emails from Kalda about weekly mindfulness sessions So that I can attend

As a user I need to opt-out of recieving emails from Kalda about weekly mindfulness sessions So that I have a choice

As a Kalda staff member I need to know that all users are added to the Sendfox mailing list So that I can send out information

Other need - to be GDPR compliant.

Acceptance criteria

• [ ] When a user signs up on the Kalda platform, a tickbox appears asking them to sign up for email updates, the tick box is auto-filled.
• [ ] If they do not un-tick the box, their email address is automatically added to an email group in Sendfox

Simple tick box, that is auto-filled.

Generally you don't need a tick box for email notifications as that's part of the service. It's marketing emails etc that you'd have a tick box for as they're not part of the thing being signed up for, but an additional service.

If this is the case we can just turn the Sendfox integration so user emails go into a list. We can discuss at backlog refinement.

Ah this is good to know - our newsletter will sometimes promote things like new things to buy on the app though? It's not really the notifications I wanted the box for its more our newsletter which DOES contain marketing.
