What specific metrics are we planning to show on the map? How real-time are these updated? How extensive is the geographical coverage?

Found some datasets I am STOKED about!

The World Resources Institute (WRI) has extremely good historical emissions data (186 countries) and some pretty interesting projections for major economies, and ALL of the data is available for download! You can check it out through their CAIT tools here: http://cait.wri.org/

Also excited about this: https://ourworldindata.org/co2-and-other-greenhouse-gas-emissions The data behind each visualization can be downloaded.
