There will be 3 types for machinery, power consumers
, power generators
and hybrids
. Intuitively, power consumers
and generators
will consume and generate units of power to produce items, blocks, more power, etc.
Hybrids
similarly to consumers
and generators
will consume and generate power simultaneously. They will independently accept power / energy of one type and generate power of a different type. For example: converting fossil fuel in to electricity.
There will be a multi-tier progression in system in Craftle. Each tier progression will be exponentially difficult to achieve from the previous tier. The goal is to provide a steady stream of progression in gameplay that is complex and intriguing. As a basic principle, craftle will try to avoid any major progression from mindless activity (i.e. just mining for resources), but we will try to prioritize progression through automation and technological advancements.
Description
Complete restructure of Craftle. This issue will be used as exploration for the new ecosystem for Craftle.
Craftle
The general aim is to extend the vanilla experience with highly technical machinery, new resources and items which will revolve around a unified system of power ranging from fossil fuels to more exotic forms of power generation.
