Can't install in storage mode: no Dashboards menu #692

I've just updated my few years old HA install to the current version (2022.8.5, installed via venv/pip) and having a go at using the GUI configuration.

My old set up was using the mini-media-player, and I'd like to keep using it. I'm trying to follow your current instructions for storage mode installation but there's an issue with step 2:

Go to Sidebar -> Settings -> Dashboards -> Menu (top right corner) -> Resources.

Unfortunately, there's no menu on the Dashboards page, and I can't seem to find any menu with a Resources option.

Did something change on HA since this was posted? Or maybe something is broken here on my side?

Huh, look like I didn't need that step after all. The custom control showed up somehow on its own.
