Title says it all - Just double checking before I switch to something else.

Seems like it -- any good alternatives people here would suggest?

That's too bad, I really like the mini media player. I've looked and don't see anything with close to its capabilities.

Seems like a good time for a fork! Even half-broken, this is still better than any other card I've found (especially including the core one).

Agreed. Maybe is there's a fork, at least some of the outstanding PRs that folks have graciously offered up can get resolved.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to address the concerns raised in this thread regarding the status of the mini-media-player. First and foremost, the project isn't abandoned. However, due to my current time constraints and shifting interests, I haven't been able to dedicate the necessary time and effort it deserves. For now I also lack a proper HA dev setup or a HA setup at all for that matter, which poses significant challenges when it comes to testing contributions, which further complicates matters. I'll anyway always try my best to ensure the card doesn't completely break one day.

However, I recognize the project's value and I am very open to adding maintainers to help manage it. If anyone would be interested, anything from reviewing & merging PRs, answering issues, or just generally keeping the project alive, please reach out. Would be greatly appreciated by both me and the whole community.
