Issue summary:
We are trying to track social channel referrals, but some work (Facebook,
Twitter, Vimeo) and others are referred as direct traffic (Youtube, Medium,
Pinterest)

Steps to reproduce issue:
1. Open https://www.pinterest.com/sortpad/
2. Click www.sortpadapp.com in the header
3. In the sortpadapp.com property check Real-Time / Traffic Sources

Expected output:
We should see Medium to be Social and Source to be Pinterest

Actual results:
The Medium is Direct and Source is empty

Notes:
Same thing applies with these links:
www.youtube.com/user/sortpad
www.medium.com/@Sortpad_29584

These links work:
www.twitter.com/sortpad
www.vimeo.com/geniostudio
www.facebook.com/sortpad

All links are set at the Social Settings as Social Content URL Prefixes

The issue tracker is for reporting bugs or making feature requests. This is
neither so to get help I suggest you ask this type of question in the developer
forum for analytics.js
(https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/google-analytics-analyticsjs
)

Also, you may want to review how traffic sources are determined:
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/platform/campaigns-trafficsour
ces

and how Social Content URL prefixes are actually used since it is not related
to what you're describing. They are for Social Activities, which is different
than the traffic sources report.
