My wife and I discussed about the "gym" and "fitness center" icons.

She started gym lessons this week :) and she doesn't understand what's really a
difference between the two.

In general, you practise gym in a fitness center. My opinion would be : keep 
fitness
center icon, and leave gym icon.

What do you say?

Gym is where a body builder or a weight lifter will go to train. A Fitness 
Center is
where your wife will go to work out.  See the difference?  A Fitness Center 
will have
a lot more things to do then a Gym.  They could have aerobics classes, work out
sessions, step up sessions.  They will have a lot more machines then a Gym. A 
Gym
will mainly have free weights, benches and stuff...  Do you see the difference? 
 It's
like jogging and running, similar but not the same.  :-D   //Matthias

I see your point but, in France, gym places and fitness centers are in general 
the same places.
Theses places have both machines to work out and to train.

Like a toys store have both barbies and legos.

is it different in Spain?

Yes, it's different in Spain, and in Sweden, and in Germany, and in the US.  The
persons that go to a Gym would never set their foot in a Fitness Center...

My only comments about the icons are for jogging : the body is a little strange.
For fitness center, I am sorry, but I see some kind of a male sex in place of 
an arm :(

But the icons are OK, don't need to change. If we come up with something 
better, we
will compare and debate :)
