Win8 x64 has changed some of the API coding styles, I need to rebuild some key
component to make it working. I am already on it.

V1.2012.0406.0 works on Windows 8 (build 8400) x64 when running from registry
only in Chrome.

Have you sorted this issue out?
Is mactype working flawlessly in Windows 8?

I confirm latest MacType (1.2012.1022.0) is working for me too in Windows 8
(64bit) desktop applications.

Will there be any releases supporting metro too??

not recently. whether Metro is based on WPF (which is private) or DirectWrite
(API opened) is not determined so far, I need time to check it out before
supporting it.
And, Windows 8 is not popular right now, neither does metro.

Flyingsn..@gmail.com : First of all, thanks for your work.
Followingyour message dating Nov25, 2012:
Have you made progress in your goal of determining whether you can support
Win8metro+Office2013.
It is better to start now or wait for "Windows Blue".

Is there any news on this? I'm sure Windows Blue will not be a big change from
Windows 8. All is it adding is additional features, while keeping Metro!
