I was wondering if the ability for Phase-Shift Keying could be added for further modulation and demodulation features, if for example I wanted to emulate a 1200/2400 bps modem.

minimodem can certainly --tx and --rx at any baud rate up to half the bandwidth of the audio channel, but only encodes and decodes simple FSK-based protocols.
