GUI - System - System recovery #34

Linux Kamarada must provide its users the ability to rollback the system to a previous working state if a problematic change (e.g. software update or configuration) occurs.

By default openSUSE uses the Btrfs filesystem for root (/), which supports snapshots. Snapper is a tool for managing those snapshots and is available as a command line tool and a YaST module.

According to the Snapper Tutorial, needed packages can be installed with:

# zypper in snapper yast2-snapper snapper-zypp-plugin grub2-snapper-plugin

Linux Kamarada is moving to GitLab. Any updates to this issue are going to be reported on GitLab.
