What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Establish a connection.
2. Click on the home button or switch to any other application.
3. The Connectbot status tray icon disappears within 1 second of the new
application taking the screen.
4. Switching back to Connectbot shows the connection has been dropped
(confirmed by host log).
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Connection should be maintained. Switching back to Connectionbot should show
the logged in console screen and the icon should be in the tray.
What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)? 1.7.1
What type of system are you trying to connect to?
Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS
If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?
