enter key not working with some telnet sites

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.use connectbot to telnet to rainmaker.wunderground.com

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

enter key does not work. works with regular telnet client
What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?
latest as of 04-2012

What type of system are you trying to connect to?

telnet
If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?
can not echo $term

Please provide any additional information below.

Same here with Telnet Server that is coming with Windows 8.1
Other clients work.
