remove redundant second version of 1/f noise subtraction #107

There were versions of 1/f noise stripe subtraction added in PRs #89 (by me) and #102, #106 (by @JarronL). Jarron's version is more clever and we don't need or want two versions of this. Plus for maintenance long term "the best code is no code". This PR deletes my version of the 1/f subtraction.
