Hi, This project looks amazing! I was wondering if you might consider switching to a more permissive license such as MIT or ISC so not all upstream projects have to be GPL-licensed as well. Thank you!

Hi, thank you for your suggestion. This project is just a port of the author's implementation, and, unfortunately, the license is GPL3.

I can't change the GPL-license to another because I translated his matlab code in python reffering his code. To do it, the author, Steven, needs to change the original license.
