This branch compiles and runs OK for me on Debian 11, using the Python 3 version of scons. It resolves numerous issues with obsolete Qt calls.
Note that lash has been removed. I don't use it, and therefore don't really understand it. Word on the street is that NSM (New Session Manager) is the new shiny thing, but I don't use that either. Not to mention Pipewire.
If session management is important, we should be recruiting ;)
