I've modified the install.rdf to allow 4.* as the max version, manually
installed it & works like a treat. I changed the version to 0.15.4.1 as well
just make sure it was getting the updated code.
<em:maxVersion>4.*</em:maxVersion>

I just upgraded from fox 3.6 to 4.0b6 and it refuses to upgrade the nagios
checker and has disabled it

Have same problem with FF 4.0b6. Says that it's incompatible with this version.

Downloaded 0.16b1 source, changing maxVersion as benjosborne said, and it seems
to work fine on FF 4.0b6 (OS: WinXP).

@waringer: status bar and preferences works, but I've not tried with previous
versions

What about 4.0b7? Have you tried it in there yet? IF not I guess I can try
again with that workaround

Nope. Still not working in 4.0b7 for me. Same result as b6. Mouse-over
doesn't work.
