Nav target out of bounds #8

Occasionally, when changing nav target, I get a can't drawcompass of undefined. Not easily repeatable, doesn't normally occur at endpoints of valid nav-targets, which are limited / rolled over in the keyboard input code.

Fixed a couple of related issues long ago, haven't seen this in at least 6 months, the bug is now presumed dead.
