Violations issued with trace timer remaining

(2) What is your issue?
Violations issued in the middle of hacks, with remaining trace time.

(3) What steps will reproduce the problem?
a)Crack a server, start a trace.
b)Have time left on server.

(4) What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Trace should continue without issue.  Instead both Cash and iviasq report being 
issued violations with time remaining on the clock.  

I have not spoken to ivi about the issue, but Cash reports no slow down or 
notable connection issues at the time of the violation.  He also reports no 
script use, only that he was testing the use of the passcode program at the 
time.  Checking the news on the server, Steeldata, shows a report of Cashano 
caught red handed, which I assume means it was the result of an active trace, 
rather than a passive one.

(5)Please provide additional information below.
a) what where you doing when you discovered the problem?
Cashano was practicing with passcode.
b) are you able to retrace your steps in order to reproduce the problem?
No
