I am supposed to get an error message as per developer's guide but i am only shown a null

No proper error message is given for update command

When simply using update, the result message given is null, which is not ideal. It could be better if a help message is displayed to inform the user about the syntax of the update command.

This bug is a UI bug, which is purely aesthetic (null is the error message). Therefore, the bug is downgraded to a "very low" severity.

Reason for disagreement: This severity could be low, medium but not very low. The reason being that having a generic error message can be very misleading to users as they are unsure of what went wrong and this decreases usability.
