More donation options

Hi,

After the horrendous update to Duolingo, I started looking around for alternatives and stumbled upon this project, which is not there yet. However, I would like to contribute to it and donate monthly. Paypal does not allow this.

Could you please provide other methods of donating? Libera pay allows using Stripe to transfer to a bank account and credit card donations.

If you feel so inclined even crypto donations (for others, not me).

Unfortunately not and I have no idea why.

The message is just "it didn't work" :shrug: . Could you enable credit cards or "Stripe" on liberapay?

Not sure what Microsoft's payment provider is doing that's messing up the payment.

Looks like the problem is that Github only accepts donations in dollars and that costs quite a bit to exchange so I'd have to clear it with my bank first, which means sending them a physical mail + signing something or showing up there physically. I'd love to donate, but this is too much effort for a one time donation. I'll see if there's to contribute in another way.
