Login prompted every time you roam to a new AP #3

Hi!

Everything with your code works perfectly with one AP, but if i roam to another accesspoint with the same SSID, it prompts for username and password again. Is there any thing i can do to stop this behaviour?

What version of UniFi are you using? What auth method? I am have several AP's up and don't see this behavior so if you could let me know how to reproduce it that would be great.

Hi!

Thanks for the quick answer! I actully tried it some more, and it actually works, but the first minute after roaming to a new AP, it prompts for login. Just try it again and it will work. I suspect that the issue is a network problem with my computer that I currently have the authorization portal on. (Heaps of vlans on both unifi server and my computer. They all gate to different gws and the web address on my computer where i access the webserver is not the same address i gate through) :)

So im gonna try to move the authorization to the unifi server and see if the problem presists.

Read Ubiquity's own forums, lots are having problems with the captive portal re-appearing when roaming across APs - it's just another "feature" they release half-assed and expect you to beta test for them. Classic Ubiquity move. I wouldn't be so quick to blame the problem on this project's code, rather it's a firmware problem with UniFi
