Are these better than not <<< isNull (or not . isNull, if you use that composition)?

I'm back after an opaleye hiatus, sorry for the delay!

Ehm, I don't remember my thought process when I wrote this. I think i just blindly translated an existing query that used is not null. I don't think there's any difference and it's just a matter of taste if this should be merged. Do as you please!
