1 year ago The current work-around for this is to use the 'Tension Compression Eliminator'-component to deactivate elements under compression. Material non-linear analysis is on the TODO list.
when optimizing cable locations for complex problem the current workflow of beam as truss takes compression forces in some configuration of cable which results in unreliable results, would be great to have native cable elements, tension only to circumvent this issue.
