speak button should be removed from the toolbar #181

The new 1.8.1 version adds a button to speak test on the toolbar above bible
text which has the buttons for bible version, verse, and commentaries.

It should be removed because 1) the icon is an eyesore and 2) on devices with a
small screen the toolbar is overcrowded.

I don't see such an icon, though admittedly my Android 4.0 tablet (7 inch) does
not have a TTS engine as part of the OS firmware, yet there is a Speak option
in the Settings | More menu.

Andbible 1.8.1 on android 2.3.2. The button shows up for texts in a language
that has a TTS installed.

When you say 'a button to speak test' do you mean 'speak text' or is the TTS
not working.

I admit the button is not pretty but most people like the TTS functionality - I
use it a lot personally but I would gladly use a better icon if somebody
provided one.

I had thought of having a setting which excluded the TTS Speak integration
completely from the app for users who merely like to read - is that your
request?

IMHO TTS should be part of AndBible app, my grip is about the location of
button. On my measly 320×480 screen, the button makes things way too crowded.
it's hard enough to hit the right button for the bible translation, etc. I
liked the TTS switch it in its previous location - the application's menu.
