Crashes consistently when opening.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to open it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a working screen.  I see sometimes the initial blue screen, sometimes 
the title bar, sometimes nothing at all.  It never works for me anymore.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.9 on Android 4.1.2

Please provide any additional information below.
It used to work OK.  I updated both the application to 1.9 and Android 4.1.2 at 
about the same time.

BTW, when other applications die, I usually get a window asking me to send a 
report.  This one does not do that.

Do you get similar problems with any other apps since upgrading your OS?

Can you try uninstalling the app totally and reinstalling from scratch?

Yes: Google Earth, Readability and Waze.  But the only one I really
depend upon is And Bible.

Did it and reinstalled from F‐Droid, which does not include 1.9.  It
is working right now, but then Google Play did not offered to update
it to 1.9.  Should I update to 1.9 using some other package manager?

If you want to manually install And Bible all the official builds are here:
https://code.google.com/p/and-bible/downloads/list

With so many apps giving problems it seems like your mobile may have other 
issues.  Like an SD card problem or something else.
