Does AndBible allow pinch-zoom to change size of text or not?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On my Android 2.2 phone, I've got AndBible working, and it's great. Since 
the last version, it also allows Split Screen, AND pinch-zoom to make the text 
larger or smaller.
2. But on my Android 4.1 Tablet, the pinch zoom refuses to work.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
* I would expect the Tablet to behave in the same way as the phone. Is this an 
AndBible issue, or a "replace user/reconfigure Tablet settings" issue?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
* AFAIK - I'm using the latest version of AndBible on both devices.

Please provide any additional information below.

I just tried pinch/zoom with And Bible 1.9.0 on my Android tablet.

I confirm that there was no change of text size.

My device runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

cf.  Many other apps respond to pinch/zoom.

Pinch to zoom has never been implemented in and bible.  If it works for you 
then it is nothing to do with and bible.

You can change the text size via and bible settings
