Build failes with automake 1.12 #18

Hi there,

Since upgrading automake from 1.11 to 1.12, the build fails with

configure.ac:33: error: automatic de-ANSI-fication support has been removed
/usr/share/aclocal-1.12/protos.m4:12: AM_C_PROTOTYPES is expanded from...
configure.ac:33: the top level
autom4te: /usr/bin/m4 failed with exit status: 1
aclocal: error: /usr/bin/autom4te failed with exit status: 1
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1

This should be fixed by removing AM_C_PROTOTYPES at configure.ac:33, I've tested it with automake 1.11 that it does not break older setups.
