Create new exploration button doesn't work in Firefox

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run bash scripts/start.sh in terminal
2. open http://localhost:8181/ in Firefox 35.0.1
3. Reload an exploration or 2 from the admin panel
4. Open Gallery from main page.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is as show in the first image. This is from Chrome where 
the button is working as expected. The second image shows the button "behind" 
the exploration link making it inaccessible. I also created a production server 
and it is viewable here as well. In chrome it works and firefox it does not.
