Alegreya Sans t renders poorly at 18px on Windows XP #285

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load http://www.google.com/fonts/, search for Alegreya Sans
2. View regular (400) weight at 18px

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see well-rendered text. Instead the bottom tails on the lowercase 
"t" are filled in. See screenshot.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Viewed on Google Chrome on Windows XP. Similar results in any other XP browser: 
this is a TT hinting issue.

This is due to lack of proper TTF hinting in the font file. The same font on 
Adobe Edge Font does not suffer from this problem.
