Sailfish 3.0 has an in-built way to check the free/used space of the SD Cards. You can access it by going to system Settings > Storage.
It is more reliable so you should use it to check free/used space.
You can read more about that method here: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201997993-What-kind-of-SD-cards-and-formats-are-supported-Formatting-and-encrypting-a-card
Thank you for your feedback! I was not aware that you seem to consider this feature to be some kind of unreliable, because I never noticed any problems using it in the past in combination with unencrypted card. As I switched to use encrypted cards now, I will be missing the additional info.
But you are absolutely right in pointing out, that there is the separate built-in tool within settings. I will use that from now on. Thus I close this issue. Anyway - thank you for releasing and maintaining "File Browser"!

With the release of Sailfish OS 3.0 the support for encrypted SD cards has been integrated. Using encrypted SD cards I am missing the additional info for free/used space. The German localized GUI looks like this:
It would be nice to have the additional information using encrypted SD cards as well.
